Health & Safety Screening Guide

Every PowerShift® Weekend Experience is designed around consent, care, and readiness. This guide helps you understand how we keep the container safe, how to prepare your body and mind, and what to expect before, during, and after the weekend.

Before You Apply Transparent intake

We review medical history, medications, and intentions to ensure every cohort stays safe and aligned.

During the Weekend Clinically-informed facilitation

Small ratios, medical support on call, and seasoned guides help you stay grounded throughout the journey.

After the Weekend Integration support

Structured follow-ups, optional coaching, and practices that help insights translate into your daily life.

Who Should Pause or Consult a Physician

These conditions do not automatically exclude you, but they require a deeper conversation with our team and your healthcare providers. Your safety—and the safety of the cohort—comes first.

Cardiovascular
  • Uncontrolled hypertension or arrhythmias
  • Recent heart attack, stroke, or clotting disorders
  • Severe anemia or untreated sleep apnea
Neurological & Psychiatric
  • Psychotic-spectrum conditions
  • Bipolar disorder with recent mania
  • Seizure disorders or traumatic brain injury
Other Health Factors
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Unmanaged endocrine or autoimmune disorders
  • Recent major surgery (within 6 months)

Medication Interactions

Some medications may require tapering or medical clearance because of potential serotonin syndrome, blood pressure shifts, or reduced efficacy of the experience. Never change medications without your clinician’s guidance.

Contraindicated
  • MAOIs
  • Lithium
  • Tramadol
Requires Medical Oversight
  • SSRIs / SNRIs
  • Antipsychotics
  • Beta blockers & blood pressure medication
Other Considerations
  • Benzodiazepines (may dull effect)
  • Hormonal therapies
  • Sleep medications

We coordinate directly with your prescribing doctor when adjustments are recommended. Some medications may simply mean this cohort isn’t the right timing—our team will help you plan for a future window.

During the Weekend

Informed Consent

Every participant completes an informed consent sequence covering program structure, risks, alternatives, and confidentiality. Legal alignment with EntheoWork’s charter ensures the experience operates within jurisdictions where sacramental use is permitted.

Integration & Aftercare

Integration is where insight becomes movement. We provide structured support to help you metabolize what emerged and carry it into your leadership, relationships, and personal practices.

Need to talk this through?
