PowerShift® Events Refund Policy
We hold small, carefully composed rooms. When you commit, we reserve a seat, accommodation, and facilitator time specifically for you. This policy explains how refunds, credits, and transfers work so you can plan confidently.

Cancellation windows
Refunds and credits are anchored to the start date of your registered weekend.
30+ days out
Full refund minus $500 stewardship fee
14–29 days out
50% refund returned to your original payment method
7–13 days out
100% credit toward a future PowerShift® Weekend Experience
< 7 days or no-show
No refund; case-by-case review for partial credit
How to cancel
Email events@powershiftevents.org with your confirmation number and reason for cancelling. The effective date is when we receive your written notice.
Event credits
- Credits remain valid for 12 months from the original weekend.
- You may transfer a credit to another participant with our written approval.
- If your new weekend costs more, you pay the difference; if it costs less, the remaining credit stays on file.
Payment plans
If you are on a payment plan, outstanding installments continue according to schedule unless you request a cancellation that qualifies for refund or credit.
Private cohorts & corporate bookings
Private or enterprise weekends operate under custom agreements. Refer to your statement of work or contact partnerships@powershiftevents.org for specifics.
Force majeure & stewardship
If unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather, facility issues, facilitator illness) require us to reschedule, you may select a full refund or move to a future date. We are not responsible for travel costs, so we recommend travel insurance.
Downgrades & upgrades
Package downgrades are permitted up to 14 days out, with differences issued as credits. Upgrades are offered based on availability and require payment at the time of the change.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first attempting resolution with us, we reserve the right to deny future registrations until the matter is settled.
